The first blog

Well this is it.

The first entry in the blog.
So lets start with a introduction on what makes this website (partly) tick.
This website is made using C# with the ASP.NET Core framework. I can already hear people asking. WHY C#?
Well. Simple. This is what I am used for when I am writing web.
But why not Rust?
Well, simple. I do not like Rust. The community feels a bit toxic. I do not like that almost everything is a version 0.x. And feel pretty comfy with C++.
Even though I know that Rust has some very good things. I really do like the memory safety aspect of it.
Also. I can hear people say Why not plain HTML and CSS?
Well. Because I can do some fancy stuff with C# and a more interactive web framework than just HTML.

The big thing, that I really like, is as you probably already have seen, BrowserPonies. And the reason it's Princess Luna and her different forms. Simple by default is simple. Princess Luna is best princess!

The main theme is Bootstrap with the older jQuery. I really need to find an alternative to that. But for now it is fine. If you know anything better you can message me on Fedi via @Senna@mk.absturztau.be.

The blog element is self written with an off the shelf Markdown Parser.

There is already a idea to make commands available but I would have to find a way to reduce spam from potiential bots and AI.
